Amy Winehouse has made a vow not to drink any booze before she goes on stage from now on. The ‘Winehouse by name wine house by nature’ singer has had a bad reputation for being a total pisshead on stage and was a laughing stock after she forgot lyrics at a Berlin gig. Amy’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has also been banned from her shows as he apparently encouraged her to get drunk. Lets hope she doesn’t continue with the drugs or she’ll waste away completely not having the beer-belly giving booze to keep her going.
All this comes after Amy was arrested in Norway last week, and was fined 500 euros (£350 or $715) for possession of cannabis. Her friends were apparently relieved that she wasn’t arrested for anything worse and I can honestly say I’m glad too. I love Amy’s singing style but I don’t like her choice of lifestyle one little bit.
Not long ago people were saying that ‘no rehab’ Amy was killing herself with all the booze and drugs she was using, but after remaining lucid at her recent gig in Amsterdam I have a little faith that she might be able to pull herself around. Her husband isn’t exactly a shining light for her either, in fact I’d go so far as to say he’s what’s pulling her down. Fielder-Civil? Fielder-Evil more like.
